Gather Required Documents

When you're ready to apply for your loan, use this handy checklist to make sure you include all the required documents:
  • One-page loan application
  • Two years of financial statements
  • Copy of bylaws and articles of incorporation
  • Copy of a contract (purchase, real estate, construction)
  • Copy of a funding agreement with town or county, if applicable
You'll also need Board meeting minutes or a completed Board Authorization Form authorizing the:
  • Loan amount
  • Loan purpose
  • Loan rate and terms
  • Authorized signees
  • LGFCU Commercial Lending as the lender

Apply for your Loan


If your organization isn't already a member, you'll need to join Local Government Federal Credit Union (LGFCU). It's as easy as opening an LGFCU Share Account under an organization membership for $25. Give us a call at 800.344.4846. Or, if you prefer, visit your nearest branch location.
